The New Berlin Scholarship Fund provides financial support for New Berlin residents planning to attend college, pursue training in a trade, or attend a commercial or vocational school or technical college.
Founded on May 29, 1963, the Fund was established by New Berlin citizens to support the education of local students beyond high school. Since then, we've awarded over $628,000 in scholarships to more than 550 recipients.
9-15 Directors administer the Fund: receiving, establishing, maintaining, investing, and disbursing scholarship money. The members of the Fund are residents of New Berlin, administrators of high schools and/or representatives of various services orgiazations in New Berlin.
Funding comes from New Berlin citizens, businesses, and nonprofit organizations who want to support the community and continue the Fund's tradition of providing access to higher education for promising students.
The New Berlin Scholarship Fund does not discriminate against individuals based on age, gender, race, color, religion, national origin, ancestry, creed, pregnancy, marital or parental status, sexual orientation, or physical, mental, emotional, or learning disability.
